Blue or colourless rings represent 170-grit diamonds, green rings represent 100-grit diamonds, and black rings represent 70-grit diamonds.
The shaft is intentionally made 0.01mm smaller, enabling compatibility with machines that can hold a 2.35mm shaft.
Applications:
- It can be used for both dry and wet grinding, but we highly recommend using it with water cooling as dry grinding significantly reduces durability.
- It is suitable for grinding and carving materials such as metal, wood, bone, jade, resin, porcelain, PVC, and glass.
Product Introduction:
The product is made with a high-quality stainless steel shaft and diamond electroplating.
Please refrain from comparing it with cheap electroplated products available on the market. Even the stainless steel shaft alone is more expensive than such grinding heads, not to mention the price and quality of high-quality diamonds.
The durability of electroplated products has always been relatively low, which is attributed to the electroplating process.
To enhance the durability of electroplated grinding heads, all the electroplated grinding heads we produce are thicker electroplated products, with a sand content that is more than 30% higher than that of common electroplated products. This results in significantly improved durability compared to similar products.
However, no matter how much improvement is made to electroplated grinding heads, they cannot match the durability of sintered grinding heads. Nevertheless, the price also reflects this difference. For applications requiring high durability, we recommend choosing our sintered grinding heads.
Furthermore, sintered grinding heads are generally larger and suitable for coarse adjustments, while electroplated grinding heads can be made smaller with nimble and sharp heads, making them highly suitable for fine carving.
